Farm Mission Statement

The mission of ELTEE Mangalitsa's LLC is to operate our business as an example of our faith to our family, friends and community. We aim to produce a high quality product, while practicing sound land stewardship and animal husbandry practices combined with personal integrity. We strive for a fair, honest profit in our farming operation.

....We are committed to passing our farm on to the next generation.

Leon is a third generation pork producer. Growing up he was involved with 4-H where he showed pigs and cattle at the county fair. In high school, he was active in FFA and was awarded the American Farmer Degree. Leon has been farming for 50 plus years and is committed in raising the best meat products consumers can purchase.

Pictured below is our son, he farms our land and is a fourth generation farmer.

ELTEE Mangalitsa’s LLC is a family farm located in Northeast Nebraska. Farming is not only our business, it’s our way of life. We live and work on our family farm, and are proud to have the opportunity to raise this special breed of pigs. Every day we strive to produce the highest quality products while using sound animal husbandry and farming practices. With over four decades of pork production experience, we were looking for a better way to define ourselves and make changes needed to thrive in the future. There will always be a place for commodity pork, but we believe that a segment of the United States pork industry needs to focus on its high end customers as well. There is a demand for a different kind of pork. Mangalitsa’s provide all the characteristics that chefs and makers of high end specialty meats desire. We at ELTEE Mangalitsa’s LLC are proud to present this high-end premium pork to our customers.
